A new Dynorace coming soon

Dimsport has been at the center of the scene at Autopromotec presenting a prototype of a new power bench tester on which the company is actually at work.
New Dynorace A2CTION power bench tester is being developed to support the latest vehicles technology: the target is a 4WD ACTIVE dynamometer with single roller frame (instead of 2 per wheel) and rigid connection between front and rear axle (by telescopic shaft).

The idea is to offer a new platform developed not only to brake the acceleration of the car (for example, simulating uphill roads) but also to accelerate the rotation of the wheels (simulating downhill, for example, or testing the proper working of the electric engines while recharging).
To reach this goal, our new platform has been projected to support both brake (one for each axle) and an optional electric engine (one between the two axles).
For this new project Dimsport has selected the top quality parts and components. The frame is absolutely solid, to allow tests even on supercar. The single roller frame will actually have – on the front axle – a second small roller appearing to facilitate the positioning of the car on the dynamometer, stopping the car in the right position. The high-intertial rollers (diameter 605 mm) have been produced with high quality steel and superficially treated.Also brand new bearings have been introduced enhancing power bench tester performances and durability.
A new generation of electronic data management (a new electronic board is being developed) will allow faster data collecting, so to support tests on really powerful cars requiring a very high precision during the testing phase.

MAIN FEATURES

SINGLE ROLLER developed to achieve greater inertia and supported by high quality conical couplers for precise alignment with the shaft.

Direct MECHANICAL CONNECTION SYSTEM, to replicate the road conditions. The connection is ‘excludable’, a peculiar (and unique on the Market) feature of Dimsport Dynorace power bench testers.

WHEELBASE ADJUSTMENT possible by inserting into the software the vehicle wheelbase size to move the working axle in the exact position

EDDY CURRENT BRAKE supported by a forced air duct to keep the load cell in a controlled temperature range.

SAFETY AND STEERING BRAKE to slow down the power bench and the vehicle in testing phase and to ensure maximum safety also in case of emergency.

SUPPORT ROLLERS and front centering, able to support the vehicle and bring it to the correct position (calculated by the software by inserting the tire measurements), but also to identify the slip level between the tire and the roller.

33 KW ELECTRIC ENGINE available as an option allowing a real road simulation cycle and replicate the inertial mass of the vehicle in testing also for homologous purposes.
