Dyno Tractor
Dyno Tractor is a diagnostic system designed for agricultural vehicles equipped with a power take-off. It is managed by a control unit that allows the measurement of several engine parameters, including the delivered power.
In 2025, Dimsport presents Dyno Tractor V2, a new generation of the test bench for agricultural tractors, entirely designed, developed, and manufactured in-house.
The main upgrade of this version is the introduction of two powerful cooling fans, designed to improve thermal efficiency and ensure optimal performance of the eddy current brakes even during extended tests.
Dyno Tractor’s shaft brake is released with high quality material that warrants high twist resistance. A standard joint cardan shaft (optional) allows easy connection to the vehicle and makes it possible to quickly perform the following measurements:
- Maximum take-off power
- Maximum engine power
- Maximum take-off torque
- Maximum engine torque
- Cardan shaft rpm
- Intake manifold pressure
- Water / oil temperature
- Exhaust gas temperature
Two models are available: the single-brake version - allowing the measurement of engine powers up to 250 kW – and the double-brake version - allowing the measurement of engine powers up to 500 kW. With the purchase of an upgrade, it's modular structure allows you to transform the single-brake version to the top version.
The available test for the measurement and diagnostic are:
- Timed constant engine rpm test
- Constant traction test
- Manual braking test
- Decelerative test
- Real time data logging
A user-friendly software and no hardware allow to work with a notebook directly from the driver’s seat of the tractor. Measured values can be assessed thanks to both the digital displays and the graph. By moving the cursor on the chart, the related value is automatically displayed.

The range of power test benches in the DYNO family by Dimsport expands with a new product for the AGRI sector, designed to make diagnostic operations even more practical, saving time for calibration professionals and their customers.
Dyno Tractor Trailer DF2TR2-TR is essentially an evolution of the traditional DYNO TRACTOR, designed to test agricultural vehicles equipped with a power take-off. It joins the two existing models (DF2TR2 – MAX up to 250 kW and DF4TR2 – MAX up to 500 kW) to offer professionals an even wider range of choices.
It is a power test bench for testing agricultural machines up to 250 kW, integrated into a trailer structure for road and on-site transportation. The bench's portability allows professionals to provide a timely and efficient testing service without needing to wait for the agricultural machine to come to the workshop, reaching it instead directly in the field.
The most significant innovation is the ability to test any power take-off, as the bench can be connected on both sides. This expands the operational range of Dimsport's Dyno benches, now capable of testing combines and tractors equipped with front power take-offs as well.
The trailer on which the power test bench is mounted comes with an identification number, certificate of conformity, and all necessary documents required for applying for a circulation permit.
As with other DYNO TRACTOR models in the range, this new version also includes the data acquisition probe kit; available as optional accessories are a PTO shaft, the adapter kit in various sizes, and the fuel consumption measurement kit.
